How It Works

You receive a phone call every time anyone attempts to open an account in your name and social security number. Once you get the call just simply press the * key to prevent the account from being opened. It is as simple as that! Your in complete control of when and which accounts are created with your personal information.

Why It Works

Congress passed legislation in 2003 that gives individuals the right to place fraud alerts on their credit files. Once these alerts are placed creditors are required to notify you prior to opening any new account in your name. Every 90 days LoudSiren will renew your fraud alerts with each of the three major credit bureaus as required by law.

Once you enroll in the LoudSiren service a safe phone number will be placed in all of your credit files. This is also the number that you will use when applying for credit.

When a thief pretends to be you and applies for credit, the creditor will review your credit file and see the fraud alerts. As required by law, the creditor will contact you through your safe number and will allow you to approve or deny the application.
